Children with growth hormone deficiency (GHD) face the challenging reality of taking a daily injection before bed to support their growth and development. This routine can be a stressful and daunting experience for a child.

 

To help alleviate this stress and empower children with knowledge about their condition, we collaborated with Sandoz to create a cartoon series that educates and entertains. The series comprises 5 engaging episodes following Max, a curious young boy with GHD, and his trusty sidekick as they embark on fun and imaginative adventures. Through interactions with friends and family, Max seeks answers to his questions about his condition, the importance of his injections, and how growth hormones work in a way that’s relatable and easy for children to understand.

This initiative not only demystifies the medical aspects of GHD but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and resilience, showing children that they’re not alone in their journey.
