Millions of children around the world suffer from Primary Immunodeficiency Disease. While the treatment—a 2-hour subcutaneous infusion, usually administered every other week—can be challenging, it’s also incredibly boring! Our mission was to help children understand the importance of this infusion while making the experience fun.

That’s when we created the i-MUNS SQUAD, a super team of six immune protectors who represent key cells in our immune system!
 

We began with an illustrated storybook to explain how the immune system works and why the infusion is vital for helping the squad. Then, we developed 7 activity books to keep kids engaged and entertained while they get their infusion.
